Abstract
Poster presentation of Mobile Modular Unit at the Aidex Conference in Brussels. The poster was presented inside the real scale prototype. The shelter is developed during the European sponsored S(p)eedkits project. The Eindhoven University of Technology collaborated with WRG, MSF and IFRC SRU. The shelter is rapid deployable and specifically designed for extended use and versatility in functional use. The shelter is fully calculated for a lifespan of 10 years and adaptable to climate conditions such as heavy windloads, snowloads, high sun radiation and mosquitos. The shelter has different footings for different soil types. Through the use of different add-ons the shelter can be used for multiple puposes, such as storage and medical attention.
