Abstract

This paper gives an overview of the applications of on-chip stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in RF photonic signal processing, including for high extinction notch filtering, tunable phase shifter, instantaneous frequency measurement, and bandwidth-reconfigurable signal processing. © 2016 OSA.
