Abstract
Four aspects of the transport of sediment mixtures are examined: the transport of mixtures in the dune phase, physical and morphological modelling aspects of the bed load transport of non-uniform sediment, the effect of gradation on sediment transport phenomena, and the behaviour of armoured river beds during floods. All four papers are based on research conducted at Delft Hydraulics.
