Abstract

One of the problems in the Power Electronic (PE) circuit design is the incorporation of parasitic elements in the design and simulation stage. Sensitivity Analysis (SA) allows to identify the parameters that have the highest influence on the variation of the output, thus allowing to efficiently target Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation techniques. In this paper results of applying several sensitivity analysis methods to a PE circuit are juxtaposed and it is shown how identifying the parameters can help in reducing the Common Mode (CM) current of the PE under consideration.
