Abstract

Passive harmonic tags are used to detect and track targets in highly cluttered environments or when the object of interest is too small to fit an active transmitter. This paper presents an approach to analytically model tag performance based on its equivalent circuit model. Tested on wire-based tags, it shows good correspondence with measurement results.
