Abstract
The core of this study consists of research among people who are active in the public affairs (PA) working field. The research question is: What are the contextual, personal, content-related and organisational factors that characterise public affairs work, in the perspective of sensemaking, and what are the differences in this respect between different sectors in society? The theoretical framework for this research was taken from constructionism,
sensemaking, narrative psychology and organisational intelligence.
