    Abstract

The reduction in radiated electromagnetic field of printed circuit board with active components and varying Power Distribution Networks (PDN) has been investigated. The PDN consisted of alternative power solutions such as power traces, 2 single cell Electromagnetic Band Gap structures (EBG) or asymmetric EBG. The radiated electromagnetic field of these boards was measured in a reverberation chamber. Also measurements with only the noisy electronics on the pcb shielded were performed.
