This paper describes and compares both disciplines, where the BiSL-framework is used for functional IT management. The similarities and differences between the two disciplines are identified through the mapping of activities and actors and are presented in the final part of this paper. It discusses the context of the disciplines, and the potential source of these differences and similarities.
