Abstract

UHMWPE is a biomaterial that is widely used in the orthopedic field. UHMWPE is used as a liner and is paired with a femoral head to replace the damaged hip joint. Currently, there is no research on parameters of salat biomechanics such as range of motion, joint reaction force. The results of hip joint reaction force during salat are used for simulation load parameter on UNDIP bipolar artificial hip joint simulation with those loads using finite element method (FEM). From the simulation results, impingement occurs during last sitting. Patient who using an artificial hip joint should avoid last sitting.
