Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an integrated, multi-functional RF photonic front-end capable of simultaneous notch filtering and true time delay. Both the notch filter and the true time delay functions can be controlled independently. For the notch filter part, the central frequency can be tuned from 5 to 10 GHz, with the rejection exceeding 40 dB. In the meantime, the true time delay can be tuned from 100 ps to 600 ps.
