Abstract

Even though citizen science has been taking off and many initiatives have being started, the competencies, knowledge and skills needs of citizens, involved scientists, citizen science facilitators, and others among them have often been left unnoticed. Bringing these needs into the picture has been the goal of Citizen Science NOW. In this solution room, we offer a challenge to the participants about citizen science competences and taking up leadership; science citizenship.
