    Abstract

In this paper we investigate the relation between discrete- and continuous-time systems. More precisely, we investigate the stability properties of the semigroup generated by A, and the sequence $A_d^n$, $n=1,2,...$, where $A_d = (I + A)(I - A)^{-1}$.
