Abstract
Coherence multiplex systems show an inherent instability of the output signal. This instability is due to the changes in the delays both in transmitter and receiver, that may be caused by temperature fluctuations or aging. We propose a new optical feed forward signal processing scheme to combat this instability. This scheme uses a phase diversity network combined with balanced receiver structures. The theoretical proof of the stabilization is supported by an experiment
