Strongly Inhibited Spontaneous Emission of PbS Quantum Dots Covalently Bound to 3D Silicon Photonic Band Gap Crystals

Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterAcademic

Abstract

We report spontaneous emission from PbS quantum dots covalently bound to
polymer brush layers grafted from Si inside 3D photonic band gap crystals. We
observe broad (26% bandwidth) and up to 30x band-gap inhibition.
