Abstract

Mesenchymal stem cells tethered to mechanically robust oxygen-generating injectable colloidal hydrogel significantly increased the secretion of various angiogenic cytokines and a chemokine that induced anti-inflammatory responses, reduced cellular apoptosis, and improved blood flow restoration and muscle regeneration in ischemic diseases.
