Abstract
Agent-based modelling (ABM) is taught in many courses. Here, we reflect on the stepwise development, implementation and evaluation of what ul-timately became two courses: an online and self-paced, openly accessible course on ABM basics and an online synchronous advanced course with teacher inter-action. Both were developed based on a hybrid (online and face-to-face) course.
