Abstract

In a world with an exponential increase in the amount of generated data, the scalable learning solutions may represent an option for processing and understanding these data in a fully automated manner. This research presents an alternative approach to solve some of the big data problems, by making use of network science concepts to address scalability issues in artificial intelligence (i.e. deep learning), while at the same time by making use of artificial intelligence concepts (i.e. swarm intelligence) to solve scalability issues in network science (i.e. centrality metrics in large complex networks).
