Abstract
This work presents a unidirectional three-phase PFC rectifier well-suited for applications targeting high efficiency, reduced conducted emissions and/or high power density. The characteristics of this circuit, which is based on the paralleling of DELTA-switch rectifiers by means of interphase transformers, including the principles of operation, modulation strategy, suitable PFC-oriented control scheme, and dimensioning equations are described in this work. Finally, a prototype is presented and experimental results verify the main characteristics of the proposed converter.
