Abstract
Slowly the Dutch municipalities are discovering Value Management (VM), the municipality of Amsterdam is one of them. This article describes a master thesis research in which three VM projects of Amsterdam were studied. The first two projects were used to identify bottlenecks in the applied VM method and to develop solutions to mitigate these bottlenecks. These solutions were implemented in the third project of study that showed a significant improvement in the performance. This article describes the approach of the study, the investigated projects and the results.
