Abstract

This article presents empirical data on transaction multiples for high-tech industries in Austria, the Netherlands, Serbia and Turkey for the time period October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2019. The multiples are presented for different value drivers, namely ' sales, EBIT and EBITDA. Furthermore, they are presented as both, trailing multiples and forward multiples based on either a short-term and a long-term time horizon.
