Abstract
Measurement time and equipment cost are main problems to be concerned about in measuring magnetic fields of equipment under test (EUT). Conventional frequency domain receiver results in long measurement time because of long dwell time per frequency step, caused by the small bandwidth. Time domain measurement is much faster. Instead of costly timedomain heterodyne analyzers, base-band sampling with low-cost digitizer is proposed. The measured data is converted to the typical results in frequency domain via fast Fourier transform with oversampling.
