    Abstract

The SASPC-oriented rehabilitation approach, combining patient's somatic situation, activities of daily living, social circumstances as well as psychological status and communication skills, has been developed in the Netherlands with special regard to impairments, disabilities and handicaps of the musculoskeletal system. In the framework of an Interreg Project, a study was carried out comparing the rehabilitation systems in place in Germany and the Netherlands. Proposals are submitted for implementation of a graded rehabilitation scheme.
